In the early 90’s both my parents were moved into an assisted living facility in Norristown, Pennsylvania. My sister, who was taking on the responsibility of overseeing the care for mom and dad, asked me what I was getting them for Christmas. I had been making products in China over the years, and was working with new companies that made slippers. My parents were very religious. I asked if one of the companies could make me a slipper with the picture of Jesus on the front, with the words Walk with Jesus inscribed on the front. They made me several pairs, and I gave them to my mom and dad for Christmas. When they opened up their presents the smiles on their faces were priceless. The tenants at the assisted living facility asked where they could get a pair. I looked into manufacturing the slippers and selling them in the United States. After looking at making different sizes, along with shipping costs, I decided to put it on the back burner. This year I decided to make insoles with the same Jesus picture. We make one size that can be sized by the buyer to fit their shoes, and this also reduces our shipping cost.
